What’s In Your Head - Disclosure - The Face EP (2012, Greco-Roman)
Disclosure are without a doubt one of the hottest names in underground dance music at the moment. With their immaculately produced blend of bass, house and pop, the two brothers from Surrey are right at the epicentre of the UK’s rapidly exploding house-tempo bass scene.
They’re set to cement their place as leaders in the field with their latest EP, The Face, which is due out early June on Greco-Roman. To kick up even more pre-release hype, they’ve just uploaded the EP’s second track to their SoundCloud page. What’s In Your Head is another killer track from the duo, complete with vocals that are bound to get clubbers just a bit hotter under the collar.

Running (Disclosure Remix) - Jessie Ware - Running (2012, PMR)
Jessie Ware is an up and coming vocalist based in London, with one foot placed in the rapidly exploding neo-R&B scene, and the other foot (as she lives in London, almost inevitably) in British bass music. She has already collaborated with Joker, Sampha, and most famously with SBTRKT on his outstanding debut album (see Right Thing To Do). Her haunting first solo single, Strangest Feeling, went somewhat under the radar, but with her next single Running coming out March 26 on PMR, more and more people are starting to take note of this Brit, who is obviously going places.
Accompanying the original on the PMR release, British duo Disclosure continue a run of fantastically fresh and danceable productions with their remix of the track, which you can stream up above, or alternatively you can head straight to the source by checking out the Disclosure or Jessie Ware SoundCloud pages.

Tenderly - Disclosure - Tenderly / Flow (Make Mine, 2012)
The two brothers collectively known as Disclosure have been quite busy as of late. They’ve been releasing podcasts and mixes left, right and centre, with some of the finest being their Yes List podcast, and a half-hour mix during Mary Anne Hobbs’ regular slot on Xfm the other day.
But although their mixes highlight a range of great music, and see the duo establishing a cohesive, individual sound as DJs, it’s their own productions that really shine through every time, and Make Mine are preparing what will be only the band’s second physical release, Tenderly / Flow, which is due out early this February. Have a listen to the A-side above, it’s a top-notch track from a duo who a clearly going places quickly. And while you’re at it, head on over to their SoundCloud page, where you can find the single’s B-side Flow, as well as a number of free downloads, such as their superb edit of Q-Tip’s Work It Out.

Airport Bass Mix 26/12/2011
My first proper return to the decks after a hectic few months with Uni and work. As such, I’m a little rusty on the mixing in places, but the songs are all awesome so it’s okay.
I think as a mix it features heavily three artists I’ve been really into this year: Jamie xx, Thom Yorke and Disclosure; but it’s really just meant to cover a range of ‘bass’/’post-dubstep’/garage music or whatever you want to call it, from the housey bass at the start, to a much more dubstep influenced finish.
- Bloom (Jamie xx Rework, Pt. 3) - Radiohead
- Fiber Optic (Jon Convex’s Love Transmission Remix) - Echo Park
- Work It Out (Disclosure Booty Call Edit) - Q-Tip
- Stifle - Pearson Sound
- Wildfire (Objekt Remix) - SBTRKT
- Ur Soul And Mine - Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx
- Blue You - Disclosure
- Carbonated - Mount Kimbie
- Video Games (Jamie Woon Remix) - Lana Del Rey
- Shutter Light Girl (FaltyDL Play Remix) - Kuedo
- Godzilla - Zomby
- NY Is Killing Me - Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx
- Pencil Pimp - Sepalcure
- This (Feat. Thom Yorke) - Modeselektor

Yes List: Disclosure - Exclusive Mixtape (13 December 2011)
One of my favourite new artists to emerge this year, Disclosure are a Surrey based production duo who specialise in a distinctly effervescent brand of UK bass. The pair recently completed this hour-long mix for the record label Moda, as well as announcing a new single by the name of Tenderly, which you can hear as the second track in this excellent mix.
