I realised a few days ago just how much really great alternative and instrumental hip hip and IDMey electro has been coming out recently. Of course, one of the biggest recent examples of this is Clams Casino’s Instrumental Mixtape, but if you listen to any number of DJ mixes and the like (such as Kuedo’s recent Fact mix, and Lunice’s energetic live set at the Red Bull Academy in Notting Hill) there is so much more where that came from.
