FACT mix 282: Jamie xx
Hot off the heels of his fantastic Essential Mix for BBC1 a couple of weeks ago, much-hyped UK producer Jamie xx has dropped another mix, this time for the folks over at Fact Mag. Demonstrating his versatility as a musician, this mix is quite different from his Essential Mix though, instead of breezy, disco-influenced UK bass; this short mix is a lot darker, featuring cuts from the likes of Burial, Elgato and Nosaj Thing, along with a number of exclusive re-workings of tracks from Jamie’s other main musical project, The xx.
